The Yurt is a round wooden cottage with incredible views looking over Killcare Beach, Bouddi National Park and all the way down the coast to Sydney. The structure is based on traditional Mongolian yak herders’ tents except this one is wooden with a corrugated iron roof which sounds beautiful in the rain.

The most wonderful feature of The Yurt is the veranda. Read the papers here in the morning, soak up the sun and have dinner as the sun sets with the sound of waves. There is an outdoor setting for 6 along with a Webber Q and an umbrella for shade.

The Yurt has a central round living room with dining table, couches, TV, and CD player with a new small kitchen. There are three bedrooms surrounding the main circular room one with a writing desk and a view over the beach and down the coast. There is a modular bathroom with shower to the right of the main entrance. This property has a gas heater as well as oil heaters in the bedrooms.

Bedroom One: Queen
Bedroom Two: Double
Bedroom Three: Single bunk bed

PET FRIENDLY ON REQUEST: Please note there is no fenced yard. However, the balcony is secure.

The Yurt is a 10-15 min walk to the beach. A 10 minute walk to Hardy’s Bay’s cafes and restaurants, and minutes from Bouddi National Park with its deserted beaches, walks and wildflowers. Speaking of bush walks, the access to the yurt is via a short bush track with rough steps made out of stone suitable for those without accessibility challenges.

A late check out may be available on request.
